HENRY BONZO, son of Charles J. Bonzo and Catharine Goehring, was born January 31, 1839 in Brush Creek area, Beaver County, Pa., and died July 22, 1893. He married ANNA BURNS, daughter of Abel Burns and Mary Boren. She was born April 01, 1844, and died March 11, 1884.

From 'History of Beaver Co.' (Warner, 1888, pg 370)---"Henry Bonzo, son of Charles and Catherine (Goehring) Bonzo, was born in Beaver Co., Pa., and died at the place of his birth in 1893. His education was obtained in the public schools of the vicinity, and upon his majority he came into possession of a part of the homestead, owning 666 acres at his death. ...he was best known as a breeder of horses, both draught and road animals....
When the Oak Grove Lutheran Church contemplated the erection of a Tabernacle, he donated the site.... To educational projects he likewise gave abundantly of his time and means, establishing the schoolhouse that was named by his fellows in his honor...."
From Bonzo Family researchers: Henry became a farmer and horse breeder on his 600 acre farm in New Sewickley Township. Henry's gravestone reads: 'Henry Bonzo Born January 31, 1839 Died July 22, 1893 Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.' Anna's stone reads: 'Annie Wife of Henry Bonzo Born April 1, 1944 Died March 11, 1884 In After Time we will meet her' Next to them is a small stone for 'Charlie L. son of H & A Bonzo died September 1878 Aged 2 yrs 4m 18dys' There is also an illegible verse inscribed.
Henry Anna and Charlie rest at Zelienople (English Lutheran) cemetery in Zelienople, Jackson township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.

Anna C. Bonzo married Henry Wolfe.
George A. Bonzo married Rose Jeannette Wright.
Charles Leslie Bonzo was born on April 30, 1876, and died on September 18, 1878. Charles L. is buried next to his parents. His stone reads: ' Charlie L. Son of H & A Bonzo Died September 18, 1878 Aged 2 yrs 4m 18 ds.' There is also an illegible verse inscribed.
Charles Ross Bonzo married Maude Tinsman.
Ethel Izeth Bonzo, born in February 1884, married Harvey Brennan. In the 1900 US Census, "Ethel" is listed as living with her sister Anna and brother-in-law Henry Wolfe. She was 16 years old and single. She was a wallpaper saleslady.
