'History of Beaver County' (Warner, 1888)---
"Geo. R., farmer, P.O. Brush Creek, was born in New Sewickley Township July 8, 1845, and is a son of George and Margaret Bonzo.  He was reared on a farm, the pursuit of which he always followed.  Nov. 1, 1870, he married Mary J., daughter of James and Sarah Feazel, and born in Beaver Co., Jan, 16, 1850.  She is the mother of six....  Mr. Bonzo owns 81 acres of land.  He and his wife are members of the Methodist Church.  Politically, he is a Prohibitionist."

"George R. Bonzo, a resident of New Castle for many years, died Saturday morning at 6:45 o'clock at the family residence, 1414 East Washington street.  Death was the result of a stroke of paralysis, suffered Monday evening.  Mr. Bonzo was a native of Beaver county and was born July 8, 1845, being therefore past 67 years of age.  Eighteen years ago, he moved to this city and had been a resident here ever since.  He was a member of the First Christian church and was well known and highly regarded.  Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Nancy Jane Bonzo and the following children.  Mrs. Floyd Book, Mrs Charles Young, Elton A. Bonzo and Mrs Lewis Daugherty, all of this city; Raymond Bonzo of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Harry Houston of Anthony, Fla.  he leaves also two brothers, John Bonzo of Freedom, Pa., and W. E. Bonzo of Rochester, Pa.  the funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2;30 at the residence and interment will be made in Oak Park cemetery."

George and Mary J. are buried side by side at Oak Park cemetery in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pa., section O, #140.  He went to his rest on February 10, 1913.

GEORGE R. BONZO JR., son of George R. Bonzo and Margaret Rauscher, was born July 08, 1845 in New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and died February 08, 1913.  

He married MARY JANE FEAZEL November 01, 1870, daughter of William Feazel and Sarah Goehring.  She was born January 16, 1850 in ,Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and died January 22, 1931 in New Castle, Lawrence county, Pennsylvania.
Alvira Bonzo was born August 16, 1871, in Beaver county, Pennsylvania.  She married David Book.  Their son, Elmer, was born December 22, 1908 in New Castle, Lawrence county, Pennsylvania.  On September 2, 1941, Elmer married Eleanor Lois Gibson in New Castle. Eleanor was born June 4, 1913 in Beaver county, Pennsylvania.  Elmer died, in New Castle, on  October 27, 1991.

Cora B. Bonzo was born October 30, 1873, in Beaver county, Pennsylvania.  She married Charles H. Young on September 20, 1899.

Elton Andrew Bonzo married Charity Anne White.
Raymond Bonzo married Julia Ann Large.
Eva J. Bonzo was born August 11, 1880 in Beaver county, Pennsylvania.
Wilda M. Bonzo was born March 23, 1883.  She married Lewis Daugherty.  Their son, Arthur, was born about 1912.
