From the 'Portsmouth Daily Times', Nov. 27, 1929:
"Mrs Frances [Adeline Engles Gable] Bonzo, 79, beloved wife of George W. Bonzo, [Dau/o Harrison Engles and Elizabeth Hardin] died Wednesday afternoon at her home, 1328 Grandview avenue. Her death was attributed to complications. She is survived by her husband and four children; Anna E. Wanless of this city; Roy Gable of Roanoke, Va.; Hal Gable of Logan W. Va.; and Ernest of Portsmouth." (Note: No mention of a daughter Frances.)

GEORGE W. BONZO, son of John Bonzo and Nancy Swaim, was born February 01, 1869 in Minford, Scioto County, Ohio, and died February 04, 1939 in Portsmouth, Scioto county, Ohio. He married FRANCES ADELINE ENGLES GABLE, daughter of Harrison Engles and Elizabeth Hardin, March 04, 1894 in Scioto County, Ohio. The former Mrs. Gable was born December 28, 1850 in Ohio, and died November 27, 1929 in Portsmouth, Scioto county, Ohio.
Frances Bonzo was born September 27, 1903 and died in January of 1987 in Alabama.
