He married (1) CHARLOTTE GOEHRING March 04, 1847 in St. Paul's German Lutheran Church, Zelienople, Pennsylvania, daughter of Charles Goehring and Elizabeth Hartzell. She was born June 25, 1828 in Butler county, Pennsylvania. He married (2) ELIZABETH MAGAW before October 02, 1850 in Beaver, Pennsylvania. She was born Abt. 1831.
