GEORGE B. BONZON, son of Peter Lewis Bonzo and Rebecca Brooks, was born October 09, 1850 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and died in 1914. He married SUSAN A. FISHER on May 01, 1877 in Allegheny county, Pennsylvania, daughter of Thomas and Eliza Fisher. She was born September 28, 1852 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

From the 'History of Beaver County', 1888: "Geo. B. Bonzon, blacksmith, P.O. Brush Creek was born in this (Beaver) county Oct. 9, 1850...Geo. B. was united in marriage May 1, 1877 with Susan A, daughter of Thomas and Eliza J. Fisher....Mrs. Bonzon was born March 17, 1878 and is the mother of one child, Bertha I., born March 17, 1878. Mr. Bonzon has been engaged in blacksmithing since his youth...is a member of the I.O.O.F. ...is a Democrat."
Bonzo Family researchers inform us that George had Asthma, and that he maintained the original "Bonzon" spelling.
