JAMES B. BONZO, son of Peter Lewis Bonzo and Rebecca Brooks, was born in August of 1861, and died November 01, 1925. He married EMMA C. SMITH on December 29, 1887. She died October 13, 1943.

From a Bonzo Descendant: " No children to this marriage. James had a son, Willis Hazen, out of wedlock. According to legal papers, they were very slow in settling Henry's estate. Henry, James' brother, was also James' partner in the Bonzo Brothers Stock Farm. When James died, Emma sold a great deal of stock at a loss."
J.B. and Emma Bonzo owned 115 acres near Ellwood City, in North Sewickley, according to the 1917 Beaver County Farm Directory. Jim rests at North Sewickley Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
EMMA C. SMITH:
Name and date of death from Bonzo history of Rex Bonzo. Emma was laid to rest on October 15, 1943, at North Sewickley Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

Name from Bonzo history of Rex Bonzo. Born out of wedlock. Willis' mother was "Mrs. Osgood Hazen."
Birth month from 1880 census, which has Willis as "son" with the J. Osgood Hazen family. Wife of J. Osgood is "Cecilia."
