Birth info from St. Paul's German Lutheran and Reformed Church records (Zelienople, PA), and Deemer Descendants.
From a Deemer Descendant -- 2003: Andrew did not come to Ohio with the rest of the Family. He remained in Pennsylvania and for many years was not heard from., until his brother, John, of West side, Scioto county, Ohio died. Andrew's brother, Jacob, wrote to Andrew informing him of John's death on November 9, 1914. Andrew did come to visit the family in the early 1900's. Andrew ended up in Oklahoma. Andrew's middle name may have been Wesley.
The following is a letter sent from an Aunt Florence to an Uncle Ben dated January 22, 1916 about Andrew:
"Grandfather passed away at 8:10 Thursday morning, January 20, 1916, at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 14 days. The remains were shipped to Phillipsburg, Kansas on the 2:10 train that night and will arrive at Phillipsburg this morning, where the funeral will be held and the burial will be tomorrow, Sunday."
Andrew's grave has a marker - Grand Army of the Republic. Family is claimed to have been glass makers in Ohio. He was buried January 23, 1916, at Hillsdale cemetery, Phillipsburg, Philips county, Kansas.
