GEORGE HENRY DEEMER:
From a Deemer Descendant -- 2003: He was born in Beaver Falls, Beaver county, Pa. and died April 11, 1941 at 4:30 p.m. He had been ill for a long time. The cause of death was arteriosclerosis (onset in 1910), weakness and senility (onset in 1941), and cachexia (onset in 1941). He was a Baptist. George was a farmer and furniture dealer, and a widely known resident of the Minford community, having spent the greater part of his life in that area. George and Elizabeth would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary had he lived until October. He was the last member of his family, leaving no brothers or sisters. He was the comedian of the family. According to Hazel Kirk Kent, George and Lib visited their home in Columbus, Ohio, every summer. He rests at Squires Cemetery, Madison Township, Scioto County, Ohio

From a Deemer Descendant -- 2003: After George's death, Lib went to live with her daughter, Anna Erwin, in Fletcher, Ohio. Lib died the same year.

GEORGE HENRY DEEMER, son of Susanna Elizabeth Bonzo and Peter Jacob Deemer, was born January 26, 1855 in Madison township, Scioto county, Ohio, and died April 11, 1941 in Minford, Scioto county, Ohio. He married ELIZABETH MARIA STOCKHAM October 08, 1876 in Minford, Scioto County, Ohio. She was born October 07, 1858 in Madison Township, Scioto County, Ohio, and died November 23, 1941 in Fletcher, Ohio.
Anna Samantha Deemer married (1) William Wesley Crabtree, (2) William Worthington and (3) Edward Erwin.
Augusta (Gusta) Florence Deemer was born March 6, 1880 and died February 29, 1896, in Madison township, Scioto county, Ohio.
George Harvey Deemer married Lulu Malinda Dever.
Richard Gilbert Deemer married Emma Dersch.
John Jacob Deemer was born September 21, 1888 in Madison township, Scioto county, Ohio and died August 8, 1973 in Columbus, Ohio. He married Daisy Rose. He was a Streetcar Conductor.
Samuel Edward Deemer was born, and died, in 1890 in Madison township.
Joseph Howard Deemer married Nell Doughty in 1920. He married Goldie Muriel Cook in 1932, after Nell had passed on.
